GenTrack AI helps you identify, track, and maintain standby generators. This policy explains exactly what we collect when you do that, why we need it, and what you can ask us to delete. We don't sell your data — not to advertisers, not to manufacturers, not to anyone.
Only what the app needs to identify your equipment and keep its service history straight.
Your data powers your account. It is not repackaged for anyone else.
Scan photos are uploaded, processed to identify the equipment, and stored with that generator record so you can see what was scanned and when. You can delete any photo from the app and it is removed from our systems within 30 days. We may use de-identified images to improve model accuracy — you can opt out of this in Settings → Privacy without losing any app functionality.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share your generator inventory with manufacturers or insurers, and we do not run third-party advertising SDKs in the app. If that ever changes, it will require your explicit opt-in — not a quiet update to this page.
We use a small number of vendors to operate the product: cloud hosting, error monitoring, email delivery, and payment processing. They only receive what they need to perform that function and are contractually barred from using it for anything else.
Wherever you live, you can exercise all of the following.
Active account data is kept for as long as your account exists. After deletion, records are purged from production within 30 days and from backups within 90. Anonymized, aggregate statistics that cannot identify you or your equipment may be retained.
GenTrack AI is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
If we make a material change we will notify you in the app and by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Minor clarifications are published here with an updated date at the top.
